Projects
Last updated [DATE]
A project is one brand you track: its name, its website, up to 10 competitors and its list of prompts. An agency creates one project per client; an in-house team usually has one. Everything on the dashboard belongs to one project.
How to: Create your first project · Edit a project
What a project holds
- Brand and website. The brand's name and its domain or domains. Aivting uses them to recognize your brand in answers and to decide which cited sites are yours. See Brand detection.
- Competitors. Up to 10. See Competitors.
- Prompts. The questions you track. See Prompts.
- People. Owners, editors and viewers. See Roles and permissions.
What happens when you edit a project
Detection runs once, when an answer is collected. Changing the project later does not re-check answers already collected.
- Add a competitor: it is counted only in answers collected after you add it.
- Remove a competitor: it drops out of every count, past answers included, because metrics use your current competitor list.
- Change the brand's domains: answers already collected keep the sources as they were classified at the time.
For example, if you add Pelliwick on day 20, Pelliwick has no mentions on days 1 to 19, and your share of voice on those days does not include it.
Limits
Competitors per project: 10. Projects per account: 1 on Solo, 5 on Agency Lite, 20 on Agency Pro. See Limits.
