A source is a web page that an answer cites. Aivting groups sources by domain and by URL. The Domains view shows which sites answers rely on; the URLs view shows the exact pages. Both follow your filters and count active prompts only.

How to: Find gaps and listicles

    Domains and URLs

    • Domains. One row per cited site: how many answers cite it, how many of those name your brand, which competitors are named, how many pages and list pages were cited, whether it is a gap, and when it was first and last seen.
    • URLs. One row per page: its title, domain, type, how many times it was cited, answers naming your brand, competitors named, gap and listicle flags.

    Sorting

Gaps come first, then rows with more answers, then rows with more citations.

    Example

A fictional review site is cited in 8 answers. 5 of them name Tarnfield, none name Brindlepath. In the Domains view it shows 8 answers, Tarnfield among the competitors named, and Gap on. See Gaps.

    What Aivting does not do

It does not read the cited page. A source is counted because an answer lists it.
